- May 16 - British Car Meet
at the Market. Rain or shine, this will be the 6th
year for this annual event.
Sponsored by the British Transportation Museum
and the Five Rivers Metro
Parks, the event is held at the National City 2nd Street Market, 600 East 2nd Street
in downtown Dayton,
Oh. Registration opens at 8:00 am
and continues to 11:30 am. Event
will end when Market closes at 3:00 PM.
Dash plaques to all entrants. Popular vote car show. Quality food and crafts are available
from the National City

Car Week 2009 - This years British Car Week will take place during
May 30 through June 7. Be sure to mark your 2009 calendars! While you're
at it, be sure to notify your British car clubs so they can participate by
helping us spread the word about British Car Week and classic British car

- June 7, 2009 - The British Return to Fort Meigs, Perrysburg, OH. - Come join the Lake Erie British Car Club for our 11th annual
"The British Return to Fort Meigs" British
Car and Bike Show, located at the Fort Meigs
Historical Site, Route 65, Perrysburg, Ohio.
While you show your car, you can take a tour of a restored fort from the
War of 1812, try a challenging British car quiz, shop at one of our
vendors, or sample some tasty delights from one of our food vendors.
Voting by popular vote. Dash plaques to the first 200 registered, goody
bags and lots of door prizes. Pre- registration is $12.00; day of show is
$15.00. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Ohio Historical Society.
New this year: bring a new box of crayons for the Sunshine Children's Home
and get an extra door prize ticket. So mark you calendars now. Hope to see

The Mini-sotan Job. Please join the Mini/MINI enthusiasts
of Minnesota
for a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the classic Mini and the 9th
birthday of new MINI. The theme for this year’s meet is "The Mini-sotan Job"; homage to both "Italian
Job" movies and the 40th anniversary of the release of the 1969 film
– a favorite of all Mini/MINI enthusiasts! We hope you can join us for
what will be a special celebration marking this significant milestone in
Mini history! Set in a splendidly beautiful location with plenty of
activities for all, plus some of the best touring roads around –
especially when motoring in a Mini/MINI!
