MG TC and MG TD

After the end of World War 2, all the
British car manufacturers were
encouraged to export as many cars
as they could, and America was
seen as the prime export market. The
first post-war MG car was the TC
which was launched in 1945, and
proved an immediate success on
both the highway and the racetrack.
Four years later, when the TD was
launched, the MG name was already
firmly established -and the American
love affair with MG had well and truly
begun.

A visual feast of MG history across the USA
during the second half of the 20th Century
