CBA Information C Event of Brutal Aggressives MK XXVllJuly 26-29, 2007CBA 27 GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION
Charles Clemmer has planned a great event for this coming summer. I am sure you will want to start getting your MG-C ready for a road trip to Virginia the last week of July. Here is the basic outline for the MGC meet July 27, 28, 29, 2007. Arrive as early in the week as you want. This is some stuff you can do on your own or in small groups depending on when you arrive; play golf next door at Country Club or relax by the pool. We have 4 one-day trips for members to take on their own. A day trip on the Skyline Drive. A day trip visiting Charlottesville, VA, Monticello and shopping! A day trip to Lexington / Natural Bridge / Washington & Lee / VMI, and shopping! A day trip to the vineyards of the Shenandoah Valley, and shopping! The host hotel will be the Holiday Inn Staunton at Exit 225 on Interstate 81. Group rate for the rooms are $84 per night. We will have a hospitality room available for Friday evening and Saturday. There will be a water hose and supplies available to wash cars all week. Thursday afternoon – evening: arrivals, registration, catch up with old friends, and the hospitality suite will be open. Friday: Day trip to Monticello. Leisurely 45 minute drive to Charlottesville, VA for a tour of Monticello in the morning, Lunch at Michie Tavern and tour the Univ of Virginia and other attractions in the afternoon. Return to Staunton for dinner. Saturday: AMGCR Show Day 8am Leave hotel for rally to our first stop. (Maps available for those late risers!) 10 – 11am Wine tasting at local vineyard. 11 – 11:05am Travel to Wades Mill for car show and lunch, 4 miles away. 11:05 – 4pm Lunch, car show, visit gift shops, a general good time. 7pm Awards Banquet at local country club, cash bar available. Sunday Goodbyes until next year in PA!
