What is the AMGCRA?

The American MGC Register Association is a non-profit, member-run organization dedicated to the enjoyment of owning and driving MGCs. Membership is open to anyone who owns an MGC or otherwise shares our interest in MGCs.

Please complete the Application & Renewal Form and mail it in at your convenience. Membership also entitles one to quarterly issues of the colorful and interesting 'C' Notes magazine, with free classifieds and advertising. We love our annual meets.

CBA XVIII was held April 13 - 16, 2023 in Pensacola, Florida, in conjunction with the Panhandle British Car Association "Brits on the Bay". For more details click on:

CBA XVII was held October 13 - 16, 2022 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The CBA coincided with the Chattanooga Motor Festival. Our host hotel was the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo For more details click on:

CBA XVI was held June 3 thru 6, 2021 in Petersburg, Virginia. The main event was a ceremony inducting Tom Boscarino, the founder of the American MGC Register, into the British Sports Car Hall of Fame. The BSCHF is located in the Moss Motors East Coast facility in Petersburg. For more details click on:

After two cancellations due to coronavirus, CBA XV was finally held at Dillard, Georgia as part of the Southeast British Car Festival. For details click on:

CBA XXXIX was held in and around Kalamazoo, MI July 5-8, 2019, in conjunction with the Mad Dogs & Englishmen Autofaire XXIX at the Gilmore Car Museum. There were over 300 British cars on display and many fun activities. On Saturday, attendees drove to Saugatuck, MI for lunch at a waterfront restaurant, then a drive down the Lake Michigan coast to South Haven. Some also toured the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. The awards banquet was held in the Gilmore next to the Duesenberg room.

CBA XXXVIII was held in and around Pittsburgh, PA July 13 - 16, 2018, in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. The CBA car show was at Schenley Park as part of the 38th annual British Car Day and international car show, with 500 British and over 2500 American and international automobiles on display. Another highlight was a guided tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater (fallingwater.org).

CBA XXXVII was held in and around Abingdon, Virginia September 29 - October 2, 2017. The event included exhilerating drives in the mountains of western Virginia, a car show at Hungry Mother State Park, an evening at the Barter Theater, and touring Bristol, Tennessee and Bristol, Virginia. The banquet honored Arlene, widow of Tom Boscarino, founder of AMGCR. The weather was great, and many friendsips and acquaintances were renewed.

The AMGCR C Event of Brutal Aggressives XXXVI was held in the Charleston, SC area on September 23 - 24, 2016. Hosted by Bill Howerton and Ron Neal, the event featured tours of Charleston, along with the car show and banquet.

The AMGCR C Event of Brutal Aggressives XXXV was held in and around Harpers Ferry, West Virginia May 13-17, 2015. Activities included visits to the Charles Town horse racing track and the Summit Point track for vintage racing and parade laps. We visited the White Post Restoration shop and the historic town of Harpers Ferry.

The AMGCR C Event of Brutal Aggressives #34 took place in Cottage Grove, Oregon, July 9 - 12, 2014. Hosted by Mark & Susan Miller, the event featured winery and covered bridge tours, along with the car show and banquet.

The American MGC Register held our 2013 event in July at Indianapolis, with the car show being held at the Speedway Museum. The event included covered bridge tours, a tour of the Dallara race car factory, a great classic car collection and a lot of tire kicking and car talk.

In July 2012, CBA #32 was held in Watkins Glen, NY. It was a beautiful and historic setting. The event included a spirited tour of the race track and a day-long winery tour around Seneca Lake.
