I ground down an old flat tip screw driver till it fit in between the lever and pin. Then moved the lever towards the pin to work it out. As the pin worked out I ground the tip tip down to make it thicker picking up the slack.

11/16 = 3/4 - 1/16 so close enough. If a 3/4 bottoms out and does not grab the arm securely, put a thin flat washer beneath the lock washer against the arm.

Now, I have lived my whole live in the far west of north america. It may be that I just do not understand rust.
Gord, are you saying that the tools in this box rusted by merely laying there? Or, were they immersed in water? In a flood? Subject to rain?
I cannot imagine my tools rusting in the box.

Rob, the thread size is a metric M8-1 thread and the req'd. bolt is 3/4" long. The "8" refers to the diameter amd the "1" is the pitch - that is, 1mm advance per turn.
    Cheers, Hugh Pite

I have a Harley. A bit different from yours. But it was also a fun project. You will get darn near as much fun out of driving the TF. A different feeling, but still a lot of fun.

And Yes, it is a real honest to goodness Harley Davidson - Just made in Italy.

Has anyone installed the heavy-duty shock valves? I am looking to firm up my suspension a little and thought this might be the easiest way.

I have used the Moss product and it does a good job. Another thought is electrolysis. I found this a few years back and found it really works good.

I have a wire basket that I put small bolts into. Tools should work the same.
